Acceptance
By accessing or using the website of Hariat (“we,” “us,” or “our”) at hariat.ca (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Site.
Use of Website
The Site is provided for informational purposes, to learn about our software development services, to contact us, and to subscribe to our newsletter. You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Site.
You may not use the Site to transmit harmful code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data, or use the Site for any illegal or abusive purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site for anyone who we believe has violated these terms.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by Hariat or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission. The Hariat name and marks are our trademarks.
Client Work and Confidentiality
These Terms of Use apply only to your use of the Site. Any engagement for software development or other services, and any confidentiality or project-specific terms, are governed by separate agreements between you and Hariat. Nothing on the Site is intended to replace or override those agreements.
Disclaimers
The content on the Site is provided for general information only. It is not professional, legal, or technical advice. We do not warrant that the information on the Site is complete, accurate, or current, or that use of the Site will lead to any particular outcome. Use of the Site is at your own risk.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hariat and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site, or from any content on the Site. Our total liability for any claims related to the Site shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hariat and its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms of Use or any applicable law.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Newfoundland and Labrador.
